Pet Portraiture

All my life I have been surrounded by furry friends... dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs to name a few. Not to forget our local wildlife... the cunning fox, bold Badger, and the stunning red deer.

I’m very aware of the impact these creatures can have on our day to day lives. So, it’s very important to me therefore to be able to capture in my paintings the pure essence of individual character. That look of mischief or twinkle in the eye.

I work from photographs and my paintings are brought to life in acrylics and coloured pencil, always starting with the eyes to find that sparkle.

A pet portrait is a very special and unique gift.

Please note I do have a waiting list so plenty of notice is recommended. I will try my best to accommodate your needs.

Photographs may be attached with your enquiry.

Photographs must be taken in good light preferably outside without a flash to give good colour likeness.

Getting a good sharp photo especially around the facial features helps me to capture that unique character.

We can then mutually decide upon the most suitable photo for your painting.

From start to finish each painting takes many hours to complete. Once I begin, I will send you regular updates to ensure you’re happy with the progress.

Commission Prices

The prices below are for a single subject on a white background.

The painting will be mounted ready for you to frame with a finished size of around 40 x 40 cm.

For additional subjects please add £80.

A deposit of 25% is required as I begin your painting.

Postage:

Postage of paintings will be via Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm and will cost £10.65.
